Released last early May, Conan Exiles is Funcom’s most ambitious open-world survival simulation mounted in the Conan universe. Seems like Funcom’s efforts are actually rewarded as Exiles has recently surpassed Funcom’s previous record-best of just one.4 million units sold on the 2008 Ages of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. Current success of the first DLC, The Imperial East, Funcom excitedly announced a 2nd DLC for Conan Exiles: Jewel on the West. This new expansion introduces new Aquilonia-themed building pieces, weapons, armor, furniture and many more.
In Conan lore, Aquilonia is definitely the core of the western world and its particular clothing and architecture is inspired with that of real-world Romans. Conan Exiles Creative Director, Joel Bylos announced additional content for any game too, “the group is also hard at work putting together one of the largest free updates yet. It will introduce pets and taming them, allowing players to locate and tame animals from camels to panthers to utilize them to secure their bases, carry resources and much more.” The update will likely be unengaged to all players on all platforms and launches later this quarter. Conan Exiles currently is for sale digitally or physically. The Jewel in the West DLC will launch early August for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
