This month may mark the last anniversary of Psyonix’s hit “soccar” title Rocket League, although the studio wants here we are at their past to celebrate this latest milestone.
Ten years in the past, Psyonix released Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, that provides a much more chaotic and arcade-style solution to Rocket League. To celebrate days gone by decade of Battle-Cars, Rocket League are going to be hosting an anniversary event starting on July 9 that has a 3v3 playlist with an all new “Throwback Stadium,” which includes altered goal positions and ball weight that harkens returning to the 2008 cult classic. Players who get involved in these matches before July 23 can buy balloons which will help them unlock special anniversary circumstances to adorn their Battle-Cars with.
Rocket League is accessible now on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch.
